Will nail wraps damage my nails??

I want to help my favorite ladies keep their nails healthy & gorgeous!!!  Your nails will have damage if the wraps are not removed correctly.  PLEASE, PLEASE resist...I repeat RESIST peeling the nail wraps off your pretty fingernails!!!! This will cause damage.  

I gently break the wrap seal and place a cotton ball soaked with lacquer remover and gently slide off using a flosser stick.  Another very effective way is to gently break the seal and soak in a lid of lacquer/nail wrap remover (I use an old nail polish remover bottle lid) and soak each nail and the wrap slides right off!!!  

One of the easiest ways to ensure beautiful nail health is to stay hydrated!!!!!!  We all know drinking water does a body good and it also helps with our nails & skin!!!  So, be sure to drink lots of water to stay hydrated!!! Bottoms up!!

And my last tip for FAB nails is to apply cuticle oil at least once a day! It gives your cuticles an extra drink to stay hydrated & healthy!!

Tuesday Tip: Cuticle Oil

To create and maintain healthy nails it is important to apply cuticle oil each day.  We make it easy with our cuticle oil pen or bottle.  If you have an application kit with oil, you know how awesome it is!! You might be asking, "Do I really need cuticle oil?" I'll let you make that decision...

 The picture on the left is a Jamicure before cuticle oil and the picture on the right is with cuticle oil.  It makes a [[BIG]] difference!  Our hands are dried out with frequent hand washing and other daily tasks, so give your cuticles a drink!  This day 10 with these wraps.  

I use the cuticle oil bottle because that is what was included in my application kit.  I've heard great things about both products!

{Tip Tuesday}

I've been thinking about some things to post on this JAMtastic blog!!!  I've decided that we will have a Tip Tuesday each week! So, send me your questions so that I can answer them!!!! No question is silly even if it's, "How can you possibly choose your wraps for a B3G1...there are too many that I LOVE!!!"  lol! I know I'm not the only one, right?!?!?!?!

I know it's NOT Tuesday, but I will share a tip today anyways.  The MOST important thing about application is NAIL PREP, I can't say it LOUD enough!  You really need to have all of your cuticle (including invisible) off to have a lasting manicure whether you're using nail wraps, lacquer, or gel.  I use a cuticle remover and let it soak for a little bit and then start pushing my cuticle away.  It doesn't hurt because the cuticle remover softened it.  After all of your cuticle is gone be sure to use dish soap (with no moisturizers) to clean & remove any oils on your nail beds!!

I found that a metal cuticle spoon works AMAZINGLY!!! If you have a chance to try it, do it!!

How do I apply and remove the nail wraps???

Application and removal is simple!! The written instructions are a bit lengthy because we want you to achieve the best application and removal as possible!!!  I am such a visual learner, so the videos were a great tool for me!!  If you have any questions, please contact me here on the blog, email, or on my Facebook page.  I would love to answer your questions and trust me there is someone else out there thinking the same thing!!  I will send you an answer and then post some tips right here on the blog. I plan to also step out of  MY comfort zone and create some videos for my AWESOME customers to learn more about Jamberry.  I am in front of the camera as a teacher for assessment and coaching, but it can still be a bit uncomfortable!

{APPLICATION}

I have watched A LOT of you tube videos and tried A LOT of tricks, but have found that the official Jamberry way works best for me!  If it is not working for you, please do ask me about it!!  The absolute MOST important part of application is the nail prep step.  Just like anything, great prep work makes a great event, etc.  I can tell you enough to get rid of your invisible cuticle,  not only will it help for a great nail wrap application it helps with lacquer/TruShine. {REMOVAL}

Again, I watched several you tube videos and tried a few hints.  I've found the official removal video to work the best for me.  I've also added a flosser stick to my removal process.  It makes it quick and no damage to the nail.  I also recently tried the nail wrap and lacquer remover and love it!!  Be sure to NEVER peel the nail wraps off of your nails or you will HAVE nail damage.  Jamberry created the nail wraps to adhere for a long time, so make sure you follow the removal instructions to keep you nails BEAUTIFUL & HEALTHY!! My First Jamicure

What??? You don't know what I'm talking about?!? A Jamicure is a manicure using the fabulous Jamberry products!  I'm a pretty skeptical person.  I didn't think that those stickers would work, but guess what they did!! And let me tell you they are not stickers!! Jamberry Nail Wraps are made out of a vinyl material that is heat and pressure activated.  When the heat and pressure is applied to the wraps it creates a water tight seal that bonds the wrap to your nails.  The nail wraps last up to 2 weeks on your fingernails and up to 4 weeks on your toenails!  

My awesome cousin Chance over at A Capricious Perspective introduced me to this awesome Jamberry company!  She is Jam Addicted!! She had a FaceBook party last fall and I half hearted attended, but I did buy a sheet of wraps to help reach her rewards goal!!! Then I put them on a shelf for about 9 months!!!! WHAT, WHY??? Well, I thought it would be too hard to do...hahahaha!!! I was most certainly WRONG!! I finally applied them when Chance had another party this summer.  I loved them so much that I ordered a B3G1 and signed up as an independent consultant a few days later!!! 

My life is pretty BUSY and this is why I love these fast applying, durable, and long lasting nail wraps!! This boy mom and teacher that has an obsession with washing away germs can have pretty nails ALL of the TIME!!!!!  Thank you, CHANCE!!  By the way check out Chance's blog she is much more than a hilarious JAM addicted SAHM!!!
